Grandview is a Vancouver community also known as Grandview-Woodlands, and sits just east of Downtown Vancouver. Known for its amazing views, the Grandview neighbourhood runs from East 16 th Street and Stainsbury Avenue to enables Street and extends into Commercial Drive as well as Clark Drive to Nanaimo Street, offering a variety of single-family homes for sale within the area. Grandview was clear-cut for the Canadian Pacific Railway when it was constructed in the 1880s, making way for an interurban train into New Westminster This also brought about one of the first communities in the Vancouver region. With Gold Rush speculations surrounding the Burrard Inlet, Grandview became a popular hub. Even though this hope for gold actually never became a reality, it still spurred much growth in the area, and by 1906, construction within this neighbourhood took on a life of its own keeping in-step with the popularity of Grandview to this day.
